The EOL (End Of Line) configuration is used for displaying and configuring EOL parameters. EOL is supported by DIWA transmission controllers with software version E300.1-D5.8.0.0 and higher. A vehicle dataset can be adapted to the different needs of an OEM using the EOL parameters.
The EOL configuration is accessed via the Service group in the main window. Then select the EOL configuration button in the Service menu.
The EOL configuration is offered depending on the connected ECU. The EOL configuration is not available without communication.
The display changes automatically after you have started the communication.
Next to the symbol bar, the EOL configuration is split into three areas.
All EOL groups that are available are displayed here. Click the group to display all parameters of a group in the parameter table. The status of each group is displayed by the icon preceding the group name.
| Symbol | Description |

The group is locked by the dataset and cannot be changed. |

The group is available and can be parameterized. Currently the group is not parameterized. |

Each EOL group also has a tool tip that describes the behavior of the group when a new dataset is loaded. This behavior is determined by the dataset parameter "EOL_ENABLE_OVERWRITE_BY_DS_SEL". The following variants are possible:
The parameter table displays all parameters of a selected EOL group. Here you can change the value of individual parameters. If a parameter is not available in the ECU software, the entire line is grayed out. All other information such as Min, Max and Default cannot be changed.
Displays background information on the currently selected EOL parameter. The information contains instructions on which value causes which action in the transmission software.
As soon as you open the EOL configuration, all EOL groups and parameters are read automatically. Please note that this only concerns a copy of the controller configuration. If you change values in ALADIN, you only edit this copy. Therefore it is necessary to write the data back to the ECU to finish.
The EOL data are saved using the "Write to ECU" button. Without corresponding access authorization, this field is grayed out.
The "Edit" menu can be used to reset all EOL groups or the currently active group to "default" values.
In such cases, you must also save the changes to the transmission controller.
